Practical Tarot for Absolute Beginners

Create a solid foundation for your tarot practice with this in-depth workshop.

This workshop is for you if:

You’ve always wanted to learn tarot but don’t know where to start

You already own a deck (or a few!) but you’ve given up getting to know the cards

You’ve heard that you have to be given your first tarot deck and you’re hoping someone will hand you one so you can start learning

You want to support your intuition with information, research, and practical tips

This is an intensive 3.5 hour workshop taught by a professional tarot reader.

You’ll learn the language of tarot as laid down by Pamela Colman Smith in the traditional Rider Waite Smith deck, which the majority of modern decks are based upon. These essential basics are the foundation for your personal practice to develop.

Once that’s covered, we’ll look at some simple spreads and how they modify the meanings of the cards. By the end of this workshop, you should have gained a basic understanding of tarot reading and feel confident in your ability to practice it for yourself and with others.

This workshop is limited to five people as it delivers a lot of information in just three and a half hours. The cost is € 145 per person.

This includes:

• A mini RWS tarot deck for you to keep
• A 48-page workbook with keywords and spreads created for this workshop
• Tea and snacks (there will be a comfort break halfway through)
• Follow-up consultations with the teacher and fellow students during Tea & Tarot monthly gatherings; all participants who complete the workshop receive an invitation to each gathering
