The moon is a constant companion and reliable resource for the practical witch. The phases can be used for implementing and strengthening spellwork, but also in mundane life to bring a sense of balance and alignment with natural cycles. The light (or lack of it) can be used to cleanse and charge magical tools, rocks, and so on. And make moon water!

In this workshop you’ll learn the different phases of the moon and their qualities, what phase works best for different intentions, and several different ways to work with moonlight (including a couple of my personal charms). We’ll look at some lunar correspondences, from deities to herbs and stones, and craft a simple lunar talisman for you to take home.

This workshop is open to everyone but some prior experience of meditation and energy work is recommended. If you are an interested beginner, I highly recommend that you first do my Practical Witchcraft: the Basics workshop before doing this one.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS *NOT* AN ASTROLOGY WORKSHOP (for those, I recommend Giulia in Black Moon Botanica, you can find her on insta (at)lunaticanocti ) so we will not be covering zodiac signs, only moon phases.

All materials are provided, including a workbook for you to keep. Plus tea and vegan snacks!

Creating your witchcraft practice was an amazing neurodivergent-friendly workshop with helpful tips for building a daily practice of devotion. All information was provided in a helpful booklet so I could focus on being present rather than writing notes. The group who gathered was magical, welcoming and open-minded and Avery facilitated with care and consciousness.
